Threads: Gingham skirt and OTK boots

Living in Southern California, we have some pretty warm winters. I was lucky this day and we had a 75-degree weekend. It was the perfect time for me to rock my new gingham faux wrap skirt. This skirt was only $15 and it really made my outfit pop! I knew I wanted to pair this with a cute long sleeve and some over-the-knee boots to help pull together this outfit.

I actually wore this exact outfit to BlushCon. This was a small beauty convention inside of the Asian American Expo. There were quite a few brands that I got to connect with there and check out some new products. I'll be trying them out and sharing my review with you all. The expo itself was also really fun because there was a ton of food stands selling Asian street food. I definitely had to get my food on a stick - one of my favorites is the Hotato Potato. It's a spiralized potato that's deep fried and covered in seasoning. My go-to flavors are ranch and ketchup. It's basically like a giant potato-ey chip!

Have you ever been to an event like this? What's your go-to winter outfit for a warmer day?
