With Winter slowing drifting away, and Spring right around the corner, we often find the need to do some spring cleaning or change things up to get out of the cold funk. Changing up parts of your home, or bedroom in particular can help to bring a new fresh energy into your life. I'm sharing 3 easy ways to make your room spring ready!
Change your bed sheets
The easiest way to make a big impact on your bedroom, is to change up your bedding. With winter ending, we can now store some of the larger blankets (I put mine into vacuum sealed bags) and opt for some lighter quilts on our beds. I like whites, lighter colors and florals for spring (I know, revolutionary). Throwing on some fun pillows can also liven up the space with some of your personality.

Add a plant
Plants make people happy, that's a fact. Adding a new plant can really give a positive energy to your room and also help to relax you. They also help to purify the air and produce oxygen. If you have the room, adding a fiddle leaf fig tree to the corner of the room can be super chic. My favorite type of plant to have on my bedside table are succulents or air plants. They are super easy to take care of as long as you have plenty of sunlight available. Another option is to add some fresh blooms to a vase and keep it by your bed for a nice pop of color.

Add some wall art
Putting something on the walls can really change the overall look of your room. It would be fun to add a gallery wall of framed photos and art. You can easily frame some pretty paper to add to your gallery. I love the hand made papers that they have at Paper Source. Printing out some of your favorite quotes can also add to your gallery wall. Another idea is to create something using washi tape like the origami birds below. If that seems too intimidating, wall decals are an easy alternative. There are so many cute ones available on etsy. I got my gold feathers above from Target.
