YSL beauty is probably most known for their Touche Eclat highlighting product with it's recognizable gold packaging. The have now come out with 3 color correcting highlighters.

Bisque: Corrects dark circles and dark spots. Illuminate.

What's in my makeup bag?

This is the makeup bag I carry with me everywhere! I like to keep a few staples just in case I ever need a touch up, or am in a rush and don't have time to put make up on before I leave the house. This cute pink scalloped bag was from my previous IPSY subscription. Here's what's in my bag:

Anastasia Beverly Hills 'Brow Wiz' Mechanical Brow Pencil - This is the best brow product for on the go! I love how easy it is to apply and fill in your brows quickly!
NYX Cosmetics Tinted Brow Mascara - This affordable brow gel helps to tidy those hairs and hold them in place.
Benefit Watt's Up Highlighter - I got this as a sample a while ago, it's the perfect size to highlight on the go.
Chloe Sample Perfume - I love getting small perfume samples from my Sephora/Ulta orders. These are perfect to toss in your make up bag and to try different scents
Boo-Boo Cover Up Concealer - I got this concealer in one of my IPSY bags, it's the perfect size and heals as it conceals - perfect for breakouts!
NYX Intense Butter Gloss - I'm obsessed with NYX lip products. They're so affordable! This one's a nice non-drying product to add some color to lips.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream - This is one of my favorite NYX products ever. I have almost every color. Stockholm is the perfect matte nude for me.
Urban Decay Naked Beauty Balm - This beauty balm is perfect to put on without a mirror if I'm looking for a bit of hydration and coverage.
Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick - I love keeping a nice lipstick in my bag as an option to the other lip products. It's all about choices! And it's s pretty :)
Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick - Love a good nude lip, this liquid lipstick is good for something more permanent, these really don't budge!
NYX Slim Lip Pencil - Mauve is the perfect lip pencil, helps to line my lips before applying any of these lip products.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara - This is the best mascara ever! I have the travel size for the make up bag since it's not used as much as the one on my vanity.
Kat Von D Beauty Tattoo Liner - This is the best liquid liner ever! It goes on so smoothly!

Personal Style: Stripes for Spring

We've been having a heat wave in Southern California lately, which means spring is right around the corner. This was the perfect time for me to break out this striped lace up dress. I'm absolutely loving the lace-up trend right now, and this dress incorporates the lace-up detail in a more modest way than other styles I've seen. I decided to pair this dress with a pop of color in my Jeffrey Campbell Mint chunky sandals. I haven't been able to wear these all winter, so it was nice to wear these babies out! Pantone color of the year: Rose Quarts & Serenity

How to wear the color of the year: Rose Quartz & Serentiy

Every year, Pantone announces their pick for Color of the Year. Last year was Marsala, and this year is a combination of two colors: Rose Quartz and Serenity. This is the first time that two colors have been chosen for the Color of the Year. These two colors combined show a balance of warming and cooling tones while giving off a relaxed and calming vibe. The rose quartz tone is definitely having a moment in fashion and home decor right now. Everywhere you look, people are incorporating this color as a neutral in their wardrobes, and an accent in their decor.  Both of these colors make for an effortless transition from winter into spring. See my picks for ways to wear the color of the year and incorporate into your daily life. Are you team rose quartz, serenity or both?

Treat Yourself Tuesday: Valentine's Day Love

It’s officially February, and that means Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. I’ve always loved this holiday because it’s a cute reason to express some extra love either to your sweetie or to your friends. Today’s treat yourself Tuesday is all about the pink and red holiday. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite things that will be perfect for the love holiday. I’m loving lace in red, pink, white and black for outfits and for those little lacey items underneath. Pink and blush hued shoes are sure to make a statement.  I’ve also included some of my favorite accessories and beauty products that fit the theme.
