Over the knee boots at The Broad

I recently visited the Broad Museum (pronounced like road) in Los Angeles. This museum just opened up a few months ago and I saw a flood of photos all over instgram that I couldnt wait to check it out for myself! Here's an outfit post for the day and a recap/review, keep reading...

Dress is H&M (no longer available, similar here, here, here), Over the knee boots are Forever 21 (sold out but similar here, here, here), tote bag is Nordstrom

There was quite a few Jeff Koons pieces. I'm still in awe of these beautifully shiny pieces. How does he do it?

Balloon Dog

Rabbit - so shiny!

Stacked Plates

I love Takashi Marukami's art. It so happy and bright, and full of amazing detail. I was happy to see a collection of his work here.
Lob in a strange forest

End of Line - look at that detail!

Under the table - a favorite! Wish I could climb on the chair.
The Broad is such an inspiring place. Even the architecture is amazing on the outside and in. You can reserve free tickets here. They are booked thru Jan or Feb I believe, but you can always go for general admission. That's what we did, it only took us about 15 minutes of waiting before we were let inside. The one installation that we were not able to see was the Infinity room (which I'm sure you've seen all over social media) - they were out of tickets for the day by the time we go into the museum. Based on friend's experiences, this is usually a 3-4 hour wait so you can reserve your ticket right when you enter the museum, leave for a lunch and come back to see the room.

The Broad is located at 221 S. Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012
