White Cold Shoulder Dress

I've been loving the look of cold shoulders and bold sleeves on tops and dresses lately. This dress really caught my eye because of the statement sleeves and cold-shoulders. I'm normally very clumsy and split on myself a lot, so I tend to stay away from all white. This dress was too cute to pass up in white though, it really shows off the ruffle detail. This dress is super affordable at $15 and is from SheIn, which is a fast fashion online retailer.  They have lots of trendy pieces with decent quality. If you're looking to try out a trend like lantern sleeves, cold-shoulders or even embroidered details without a lot of investment, this would be the best place to shop. My #1 tip from ordering is to review the sizing chart to make sure you order the right size to your body measurements.

Museum of Ice Cream LA

The Museum of Ice Cream first popped up in New York last year. When I saw the photos from the event, I knew I needed to check it out when it came to Los Angeles. The pop-up interactive museum event is located in the LA Arts District and is the hottest ticket in town. It's sold out until August currently, but maybe if you sign up for the newsletter, you'll be notified if they release additional tickets.

Getting these tickets were like buying tickets for Coachella, there was a virtual waiting room and everything the day tickets were released. You had a time limit to pick your tickets once you were let in, and those who took too long missed out on scoring the times they wanted. Luckily, I was able to get in and get the tickets to visit this Instagram-worthy place. Keep reading to see all the photos and details from my event.

Desert X | Art in the Desert

Desert X

Sometimes, you will find art in the most unlikely places. When I went to the desert for Coachella recently, I went to visit some of the art installations that were a part of the Desert X experience. Until April 30th, the Coachella Valley and the desert landscape becomes a curated exhibition of emerging artists. These are spread out, and you will need to drive from place to place. Most of the locations are open from Dawn till dusk, but check on the website or visit the Desert X Hub for the hours of each installation.

Desert X Hub at the Ace Hotel & Swim Club is where you can pick up a catalog and map, shop Desert X merchandise, and artists' books, and visit with Desert X volunteers and staff to learn more about Desert X.

The Hub at Ace Hotel & Swim Club is now located in the lobby.
Open Thursday - Monday: 12pm - 4pm.
Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Spring Must Have: Off the Shoulder Tops

It's almost Spring! But it almost feels like summer here in Southern California, but I'm not complaining! I love the sunshine. With warmer weather, comes lighter clothes and less bundling up. Off the shoulder and cold shoulder tops have not died down at all and are a must have for this spring! I love the romantic look of the off the shoulder top and I've linked this top I'm wearing (under $25!) and other tops I'm loving that are all under $100.

Get Baked in OC | Mr. Holmes Bakehouse

Mr. Holmes Bakehouse has finally landed in Orange County! Mr. Holmes Bakehouse is originally from San Francisco, and I did get to visit their shop the last time I was there. I fell in love with the aesthetic and their stuffed donuts. They're known for the cruffin (a cross between a croissant and muffin) that I still have not been able to try. They make a limited amount each day, and they run out fast! Hopefully with this location being closer to where I live, I'll finally be able to try one!

I was excited to be invited to their OC location's media preview event. The service counter is located inside of the Union Market in Tustin at The District. They have the same cool all-white tile walls and on point branding. Around the corner, they had in neon "KALE SUCKS".  The other locations in SF, LA and Seoul all have signs that read "I Got Baked In San Francisco" or the respective city, so I was really hoping to see a "I Got Baked in Orange County". We'll see if they end up changing out the sign.

The OC location's Grand Opening is Saturday, 2/25, 8AM-Sell Out. They are also having an exclusive collab Matcha Donut with Milk Box Bar available Saturday Grand Opening Day only. The bakehouse is located inside of Union Market, 2493 Park Ave, Tustin, CA 9278.

How to Dress up Sweater Weather Basics

Sweater weather is the best. I love to wear warm cozy knits and having an excuse to cuddle up with blankets. When it's cool out, one of my go-to outfits consists of basics like denim and a cozy knit sweater. I love this off-the-shoulder sweater with the fold-over detail. I'm wearing some of my favorite jeans, which surprisingly are from Old Navy! I have found that their rockstar denim line fits like a dream and is super affordable. I may or may not have bought 3 pairs for myself. This sweater weather basic outfit can easily be dressed up with some fun shoes and unique accessories.

Affordable At-Home Teeth Whitening | Smile Brilliant Review

With blogging and constantly taking photos, I've always been a bit insecure about my teeth. After finally straightening my teeth with braces a few years ago, my next thing to tackle was whitening my teeth. I truly believe that your smile is the best accessory. I've always want to try an at home whitening system for my smile, so when Smile Brilliant * reached out to me for a review, I was excited to try it! I love drinking coffee and I know that most of the things I eat and drink definitely contribute to stains on my teeth. I've tried white stripes previously, but I never followed through with them because I hated the way they felt on my teeth. They would get all slimy and slide around so gave them away!

Keep reading for a change to win a whitening kit of your own!
