Trying Luxury Beauty with the So Choix Box

I'm a huge beauty junkie, so when So Choix (pronounced shwaaaa) reached out* about trying their product, I was intrigued and excited. What is So Choix? They're making it easy for beauty lovers to try high-end makeup, perfumes, and nail polishes, without ever having to go into a Sephora or make-up counter. What really piqued my interest was that they had Tom Ford, Dior and Gucci. I've been wanting to try some of these higher end brands for  while now to see if they are really worth the money.

How does it work?
Customers go online and choose the beauty products they want to try... then they measure out enough sample from the full-size product and deliver it right to their homes... so they can touch and try the products to see what they're really like. There's two options: Choose samples "a la carte" for $5 each – no subscription necessary. For $15 a month, choose 5 products to sample every month, buy extra samples for only $3 each, and more!

What's in the box?
Here's the items that I decided to try:

Swatches and Review

Tom Ford Skin Illuminator swatch

Hourglass Ambient Light (L to R): Luminous, Ethereal, and Diffused Light
I liked that they labeled each item so I knew which color was which.
Swatches (L to R): Ethereal, Luminous, Diffused Light

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the sample size of each item that came. I felt like it was more than what you were to get at Sephora when you ask for samples. Also, there would never be a way for you to get a sample of these Hourglass Powders at Sephora, so I'm glad I am able to try these without buying the full size. The size of each sample has definitely lasted me long enough to give me a good idea of if I would want to purchase one of these items. The box and packaging everything comes in is so cute. I didn't end up using any of their extra application tools since I have better brushes I wanted to use with everything. Maybe they could get rid of those and lower the price point per sample. Overall, I'd recommend this box for any beauty lover out there who may be too busy, or hates dealing with the crowds at the mall and Sephora to get samples of luxury beauty products that they want to try before buying. It definitely is convenient to pick online and have these sent to your house instead of trying to go to the busy mall and flag someone down to help you.

* Disclaimer: Thank you So Choix for sending me this box for review purposes. As always, the opinions stated above are my own.

  6. The beauty products you shared are really amazing. Among all the luxury beauty items I think Tom Ford Perfumes are the best item as beauty products. Can you please share a review on Tom Ford Black Orchid?
