It finally came! My first IPSY March Glam Bag! What is it? it's a $10 beauty subscription created by Michelle Phan -- yes, that Michelle, the YouTube beauty guru.
So here are my thoughts on unboxing my very first bag:
It came in a really nice metallic bright pink padded glamour envelope. Inside, there was a cute patterned bag - i like that it's a waterproof vinyl type material so it would be good for toiletries in addition to make up. The theme this month was Destination Beauty - so i think it was meant to be a travel theme.
Chella Indigo Blue Eyeliner
-Vita Liberatap Henomenal 2-3 Week Tan Lotion
I think all these products are really nice, some of these I definitely wouldn't try normally, but it's definitely a good deal for only $10. The lipstick is a nice opaque pink, it goes on really smooth. It's not a full size but a pretty good deluxe size, perfect to throw into a clutch. Below I lightly swatched some of the eyeshadows and eyeliner. The love liquid eyeliner, so this was a nice product to be able to try. It's a dark blue that glides on nicely. The eye shadow quad is a really nice piece in this set, I don't think i would use the turquoise color much, but defnitely will use the others. The one item I'm not so excited about was the self-tanning lotion. I tan really easily and have never used tanning products before, but i guess that's the whole point of these bags, to try something new. I kind of wish i was sent the nail polish instead. Oh yeah, if you go online to the Glam Room - you can see what other products that you could have gotten and see how other users are using their products.
